After many re-installs from older betas, my disk space is rapidly diminishing! Can I delete the Windows.old, Windows.old.001, 002, etc. folders without harming my current installation? There are no files I need from any of the earlier incarnations. Many thanks,
Dave

Old Windows Folders
Yes, you can delete these.
They are simply backup copies of the previous windows folders that the Vista installer needed to replace, and aren't used by the current installation.

HI Jimmy,
Thanks for the answer. I've accumulated so much "garbage" that AV scans, etc. are taking much too long! Off to have a "delete party"...
